The ideal retrofit refrigerant
GeneralGas KryoSmart cylinders are manufactured in compliance with the European T-PED regulation and are refillable an infinite number of times.
The displayed price includes a value of 48.00 euro (6 x 8,00 euro), corresponding to the security deposit of the empty containers; this security deposit constitutes a binding modality for the return of the container for refilling purposes, as provided for by Article 11 paragraph 4 of the new Reg. (EU) Fgas 2024/573.
GeneralGas also provides an effective refill service for the empty container and subsequent return to the customer (HandyGas service), carried out at the GeneralGas plant in Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI).
Thanks to our exclusive HandyGas Refill and Redelivery service, if you return the empty KryoSmart container you will be entitled to receive a new KryoSmart cylinder for the price of the refill only (you will therefore only pay the value of the refrigerant gas).
Note: the cost of shipping the empty container from the customer's warehouse to the GeneralGas plant in Cernusco sul Naviglio is borne by the customer.
R-417A, also known under the brand name Isceon®MO 59, is an easy-to-use and non-ozone depleting HFC-based retrofit refrigerant.
R-417A was develop in order to replace R 22 in fixed direct expansion air conditioning systems and in medium temperature commercial refrigerator systems.
Applications
R-417A is used in home and commercial air conditioning systems.
R-417A is also used in commercial refrigeration (medium temperature), including restoration plants, supermarket refrigerated display cases, food processing and preservation systems.
Performance
- R-417A is a non-ozone depleting refrigerant that allows the use of already existing plants.
- It is possible to fill the system up during operation, without removing the whole refrigerant charge.
- Discharge pressure and temperature are lower compared to R-22, with the extension of the life of compressor.
- Easy, simple and economic retrofit.
Recommended Lubricants
R-417A is compatible with traditional and new lubricants, including mineral oil, alkylbenzene or polyester oil. Most of the time, changing the lubricant during the conversion is not necessary.
