The CO2 series has been formulated to guarantee maximum performance in the presence of CO2, good solubility in the cold gas sucked in by the compressor, low vapour pressure and a controlled propensity to entrainment in the hot refrigerant. These are polyol esters made even better by a modern formulation with additives, which guarantee high chemical and thermal stability. As PAG protected with both free OH for best stability.
