Kryon® 410A The refrigerant with high energy efficiency index
GeneralGas KryoSmart cylinders are manufactured in compliance with the European T-PED regulation and are refillable an infinite number of times.
The displayed price includes a value of 8,00 euro, corresponding to the security deposit of the empty container; this security deposit constitutes a binding modality for the return of the container for refilling purposes, as provided for by Article 11 paragraph 4 of the new Reg. (EU) Fgas 2024/573.
GeneralGas also provides an effective refill service for the empty container and subsequent return to the customer (HandyGas service), carried out at the GeneralGas plant in Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI).
Thanks to our exclusive HandyGas Refill and Redelivery service, if you return the empty KryoSmart container you will be entitled to receive a new KryoSmart cylinder for the price of the refill only (you will therefore only pay the value of the refrigerant gas).
Note: the cost of shipping the empty container from the customer's warehouse to the GeneralGas plant in Cernusco sul Naviglio is borne by the customer.
Kryon® 410A is an azeotropic mixture composed of HFC-32/HFC-125, produced by Honeywell as a long term replacement product of R-22 (HCFC-22), in new equipments. This non ozone depleting mixture is, from the energetic point of view, very productive.
Kryon® 410A has higher refrigerating capacity and pressures compared to R-22, and a lower toxicity. Its use is very simple because it is an azeotropic mixture.
Kryon® 410A is a Honeywell patent and has been proved to be non flammable by Underwriters’ Laboratory (UL).
Applications
Kryon® 410A is used in new home and small shop air conditioning systems.
Kryon® 410A is an excellent refrigerant in new concept water coolers not provided with centrifugal compressor.
Il Kryon® 410A can be used as replacement product of R-22 in new commercial refrigeration systems (low and medium temperature), including supermarket refrigerated display cases and refrigerated transport.
Performance
- Tests show that Kryon® 410A assures an energy efficiency index that is 5-6% higher compared to R-22, in systems designed for its use and provided with scroll compressor or other.
- Its characteristics allow the designing of smaller air conditioning systems and compact systems that usually use R-22.
Recommended Lubricants
Kryon® 410A needs the use of mixable lubricants, as for example Polyol Ester Oil (POE). Most of the manufacturers of compressors recommend specific POE lubricants.
So the user should check the lubricant recommended by the manufacturer.
KryoSmart® Alu Cylinders - Cylinders with a small amount of refrigerant charge
In the field of heating-plumping, the use of cylinders with a small capacity is very useful when refilling connecting pipes or conditioners. The advantage consists in marketing a cylinder that has a low market value, and therefore it is easier to sell it. Our KryoSmart® Alu Cylinders are available 1,1 Litre size (in pack of 1 - 6 and 12 pieces). KryoSmart® Alu Cylinders are made of high quality aluminum with a maximum working pressure equal to 48 bar. KryoSmart® Alu cylinders are filled by General Gas with the use of a patented system called “High PuritySystem”. With this method it is possible to achieve a quality standard as required by the major air conditioning and refrigerating system manufacturers. This technology allows you to obtain a gas humidity below the maximum limit (equal to 10 ppm). Therefore this type of cylinder (contents varies between 750 to 900 gr. depending on the gas filled) is the most suitable one to meet the needs of heating & plumbing market.
